Funny thing is that in Canada, if you order a pint of draft beer, you must be served 568mL (20 imp oz).
But Canada also sets the “standard drink” to 5% of 341mL (12 imp oz), so one beer at the bar will be “one and two thirds” standard drinks of beer. And most beer cans I have in my fridge are 355mL (12 US fl oz), 473mL (16 US fl oz) or 500mL (imported from metric lands).

Interesting. In the UK we have 330ml, 440ml, and sometimes 568 pint cans.
Damn, when you go big you go huge.

What’s wrong, Yank?
That’s what she said.
… sorry
I certainly loathe standard math. Cheers 🍻
And here’s a primer.
2L of “pop” would certainly make me 🤮
Depending on the ABV, this math is fairly correct.
Having one 8.7% DDH DIPA is like having two 4.5% light pilsners. Having a couple 14.7% BA Imp Stouts is like having 6 lagers.
Makes sense, I’ve heard I’m only slightly attractive after a few beers. Now I know how many she drank!
