It’s running great now, played a couple hours this afternoon. Only problem I had was a connection loss with the game server once. That could be anything, not unusual. Otherwise runs really smoothly.

Put in for a replacement power pack on Friday. Just had to enter the order number from Amazon, and upload two pictures of the power pack including the model and serial number. Bought the recalled one in 2018, and it was still working fine when I charged and used it last month. Oh well, I’ll drop it off for recycle next trip to the county waste facility.
I started the switch over last night. Installed Kubuntu on a spare external ssd. Got Steam installed, figured out how to select the drivers I needed for my nvidia gpu. Even got remote desktop access to the game server I’m running. Linux has amazing capabilities built in, I’m impressed. Took some work to get Enshrouded running on Steam this afternoon (probably not the best game to start off with, it’s problematic) but after a good bit of trying different options it started up. If I can get Orca running for my 3d printer, there really isn’t much I’m going to miss from Windows.
Flogging Molly. Was dating my wife when we first got to see them play, along with Gogol Bordello. Our first show together, she loved it. Decided I should keep her at that point. :) We’ve seen them 7 more times over the years.
When driving over ice, don’t hit the brakes. You might lose traction. Just hold the steering wheel steady, and keep moving.
Detergent, used in a lot of cleaning products.
Also “I am so caught up in my current project that I can’t be bothered to stop and eat something. Maybe later…”
I usually use epoxy or 3M double sided adhesive tabs. This time the holes in the model I downloaded ended up being undersized, so heat setting seemed like a good plan. Guess not.
He’s a hoopy frood who knows where his towel is.
Are your oven’s thermometer and kitchen scale within their calibration due dates? Is that timer NIST traceable? The measuring cups ARE Class A glassware, aren’t they? Please, at least tell me you’re getting your ingredients from certified suppliers… No, the spices from the dollar store down the road are most definitely NOT on the approved list, no matter how cheap they were! Dear Lord, how are you going to blame the recipies when your kitchen is still operating in the Dark Ages?
So this lady is just looking for a bigger, better vibrator? Might solve a few problems…
Definitely stressful, my dad had been a controller in the USAF. It’s where he learned to drink heavily when off duty. Of course, they were stationed in Greenland, so there wasn’t anything else to do.
Didn’t think about a mare’s leg. Would be lighter and more compact. Never shot one, would be fun to try out.
I’d take a good lever gun personally. If you could find a used Marlin or Henry in something like 30-30, you would have enough power to deal with most anything you need to shoot. One of the carbines in 44 Rem Mag or 357 would also work well closer up, and give you a few more rounds. Check family owned gun shops or pawn shops in your area. Unless you plan on hunting longer ranges, you wouldn’t need to put on a scope. Skinner has nice large aperture peep sights you can put on the back. They’re fast and easy to sight with, and durable so you don’t need to worry if the rifle gets knocked around while hiking.
Danger Mouse, international spy and crime fighting white rodent with an eye patch. Old British cartoon from the early 80’s.
Exactly what I thought when I saw the pic. Dude’s definitely gonna drop it before he gets 20 steps.
Estwing 22oz smooth faced ripping/framing hammer. Bought one about 30 years ago when I was doing roofing and framing work. Still use it all the time. Comfortable and durable, great for construction and demolition work. Does a nice job digging out stubborn nails. If I could only have one hammer in my tool bag, that’s what it would be.
Having to promote it as “rape oil” would be a marketing department’s nightmare.
Have Orca installed, and it started up. Now I either have to figure out copying over all my configuration files, if that’s an option, or rebuild everything manually. After tuning my printer settings and filaments over 2 years, would be a lot to redo.
