I love the game. Just don’t have the time to play it anymore.
t: “I am adding tariffs to the foods you sell.”
Seller: “we will raise our prices to cover the cost of the tariffs.”
Customers: “we can’t afford the foods and won’t buy as much.”
t: “I am removing the tariffs I added earlier. Now you can lower prices.”
Customer: “yeah. Lower your prices now.”
Seller: “…no.”
If someone waved a gun at my kid and threatened to kill him, I’d want that person incarcerated for at least 15 years.
My kid has a right to feel safe around his own home / neighborhood. Nobody has the right to make him feel like his life is in direct danger from them, just for being outdoors.
But did those ghosts actively visit and interact with him? As I recall they were more or less just props for Marley to make his point.
Or….
- “I’m afraid to spend money, even on myself.”
- “Your fears are ruining your life and hurting people around you.”
- “I’ve learned to face my fears for my own good and the good of people around me!”
Also: there were four ghosts, not three. Everyone forgets poor old Mr. Marley.

I don’t feed my plants nitrogen exclusively. But I let them have a little now & then, as a treat.
I met the guy who killed my best friend. At her funeral. He was her boyfriend. He got her addicted to drugs. Technically she killed herself by OD-ing, but had he never got her addicted she’d still be alive today. I couldn’t face him. He tried to talk to be and just walked away.

Starlord should have been played by Jeremy Renner, and Hawkeye should have been played by Crisp Ratt.It would have fit the characterization in the comics better. In the comics, Hawkeye is more of a goofy wisecracking dude who gets lots of chicks, and Starlord is more of a responsible & respectable straight-man for the rest of the GotG to annoy with their weirdness.

“Bumper” really threw me. I’ve never heard it used to describe something at enormous, except maybe “bumper crop” which I guess is what they were going for here?
No. It’s true. I lived in Cincinnati for a while. They do indeed call bell peppers mangoes. Makes no damn sense but then neither did much of what I saw in Cincinnati.
