Karaoke is not about good singing, it’s about having fun. Do a song that gets people excited and no one will care what you sound like.

Ask Lemmy•hey #fediverse, what is your favorite group of movies or shows that are in the same universe?

Multiple sneezes are just a scam for more blessings. If I keep offering them, what’s your incentive to ever stop?

WomensStuff@piefed.blahaj.zone•Seasons are changing: if you live in any area that's getting hotter or colder, what do you look forward to wearing?
2·4 天前Fantastic. Love the button eyes.

Books@lemmy.ml•Possibly Stupid Question: best place to discuss books on the Fediverse?
3·5 天前Idk but if you find out, let me know. The book suggestion subreddut was the hardest one for me to walk away from, because I love recommending books, and I found much of my TBR from threads there.

3·7 天前Getting colder in the US. I’ve got my first sweater of the season on right now. I love jackets and scarves and layers.
Oh, I thought I’d found it, about a foot directly above that. There’s a tiny yellow spot, and what looks like camo legs.

No Stupid Questions•Is it normal to be really sentimental/upset over a bowl I accidentally smashed? I had it since I was 17 (am 30 now) and my boyfriend was alive back then too.
2·7 天前Completely normal. Also a good opportunity to practice the art of letting go.
Play Nice by Rachel Harrison. Finished last night, loved it. Haunted house story, great mental health/abusive family allegory. If you don’t like female characters who are very flawed, or gen-z style writing, give this one a miss.

I think kind of flippant and with current cultural references.
Maybe not a good descriptor. I saw another reviewer use it, so hoped it would convey the tone.
