All I can find online are tutorials for how to make one, which is fine, but I also want to actually read and curate as well. Any suggestions?

I’m not sure I can help, but I’m curious if you mean zines, like physical, small, homebrew publications?

Check your local indie and alternative coffeeshops, bookstores, and record shops. Find the weirdest highschooler you know and ask them, for good measure.

I’m a big fan of local zines from my area, so I would look around your arts/music societies to see what’s up.

https://microcosmpublishing.com/ I like this site and have used them a couple of times. Shipping sucks but they are pretty transparent about it. The owner apparently had some internet drama but I’d say they got a great selection of cool stuff

Good luck on finding your zine! It’s a cool ass subculture

The best way for things like that is subscribing, most have so few readers they don’t get scanned. If you can find somewhere a list of zines for your interest and sub to a few, that’s what I’d recommend. Long live print anyway!
