Like the title says, what games have you actually beat on the steam deck itself, I notice alot of people always say they play a game for like a few hours and then never play it again, so I want to know out of all the top games that people play, all those top steam games that are played on the steam deck, what games are you actually beating while playing in handheld? What games are you beating from start to finish playing only handheld, and on deck battery, I’ll go first, the only game I beat on the steam deck, and I have over 100 games now since I bought it, is orcs must die 3, really good game I recommend it if u didnt play it, but this game me 2.5 hours of gameplay on a single charge from 100%, like I really want to know what games are you playing and beating on a road trip, cuz I have been switch between 5 games and haven’t really play or progressed in that 2 hour drive, so what games are you beating on the go in hand held from start to finish?
Tldr: what games you beating from start to finish only on battery and using steam deck?

MercykillNJ: The one I’m most proud of would be starfield considering I dealt with 20 FPS for 90% of it.

That’s literally just off the top of my head. I’ve played and finished quite a few games only on Steam Deck
dan_mischief: Titan Fall 2 Metal Gear Revengeance Being a Dad, it’s fantastic to play on the go… Fighting the temptation to get an OLED 😂
facepalmqwerty: Maneater(+DLC) and Arcade Paradise. While not among the best of all time these are good games to pick, play for 10-20 minutes during break and put deck to sleep, tried both on pc and didn’t enjoy them as I’d rather play something more sophisticated at home. There are also many that I played significant amount on deck while crossplaying with pc like Slay the Princess or ICEY, and currently Hades(it’s great on both mobile on deck and on good quality screen)
Pineapple_Pizza_Nah: Did my first playthrough of FF7R on the deck 90%. I couldnt put it down, made doing all the quests and collectibles much nicer to me.
goatpasta01: Just got mine a couple weeks ago, so far I’ve only finished Doom 2016
a_burdie_from_hell: I’ve played many, many Civ 5 playthoughs.
I accomplished my first ever playthough of Crusader Kings 3 (being able to quickly turn on my deck and not have to sit though the long ass loading screens made all the difference)
I finished Disco Elysium so hard that I litterally did everything that game has to offer- and now I wanna play it again but won’t let myself until I forget about it more.
All the south park games (I’m not playing Snowday though, it looks bad.)
And then I’ve played a lot of endless rouge-likes like Hades, Binding of Issac, FTL, and stuff like that.
I’ve also played so much Factorio it should be mentioned- but I’m not a litteral genius so I haven’t ever finished the game. I’m good, but not that good.

flippenflounder: How is dredge? I ended up going with Dave the diver when those two games came out. Dredge just kind of seemed like a darker at sea game
SporadicTendancies: Not the commenter above, and I haven’t finished it. But I’m enjoying it. It’s very mission-based for the storyline, and I keep getting lost or stuck in the dark, but that’s a skill/time issue.
So far it’s been really fun. I was eyeing them both up too and went with Dredge, and I find it really fun.
It is darker and at sea, but it’s not heavy dark, it’s just reality dark so far.

walnut100: Steam Deck only accounts for about 10% of my overall play time so I don’t beat anything on it. I put in a significant chunk of my playthrough of Persona 5 Royal on it though, probably at least a third of the game

mutantbroom: I’m pretty sure it just worked out of the box, maybe did a little adjusting on the controls. Have you tried verifying the game files/reinstalling?

CanIBorrowYourShovel: Final fantasy 7, on my anbernic rg35xx. Do not recommend it. That game was insane for its time and i had the fondest memories from playing it, but it has aged like bad milk. Anyone who disagrees has not played it all the way through in the last decade.
So many problematic lines like calling barret a “r***rd” and so many horrible minigames, the difficulty so wonk the game is easily bent over a knee and spanked into submission, and Jesus the characters and dialogue really are only relatable to us when we were 15. Sephiroth is just pure unadulterated mommy issues. Pick any other FF game or the ff7 remake, because the original is… awful.
