It erases everything I said and clears the search results.
Happens all the damn time. I can reproduce it on three people’s Apple TV with either kind of remote. How has no one in charge not experienced this?
If you want to reproduce it very easily, stop speaking and keep holding the button down for a couple seconds. You’ll get search results. Now release the button. Bam. Gone.
To best honest that sounds like a YouTube thing, as does it do it on any other app? If it done it on any other app with a similar feature maybe it would be Apple but if it’s just YouTube maybe Google didn’t integrate it correctly.
I can search YouTube with voice controls easily by saying “show me bla bla bla on YouTube.” It is the easiest way I’ve found so far. It bypasses the time problem in the official YouTube search if you do it from outside the YouTube search box.

You might be right. I can’t reproduce it in the Apple TV+ app.
