I never liked the saying “Han shot first” because it implies that Greedo attempted to shoot Han at all instead of dying like a little bitch for literally telling him he planned on killing him.

I saw it in the theatre in ‘77 - twice the first time cause back then you could wait for the next run and the hype hadn’t created the line ups yet. Han shot first in that cut, no question.

Greedo was pointing a blaster at him. He was clearly going to shoot, but Han shot first.

Nah, Greedo got greedy and thought he could capture Han alive for more money.

Of course when you include that specific context it makes sense. However, the actual context is that there are different versions, like one where they shoot at the same time and he dodges it.

So, saying “Han shot first” without adding in extra context like “before Greedo shot” then you’re implying something entirely different.

That was Tarkin. Vader did nothing wrong! He even took down some high ranking imperial officers.

I’ve always wondered why the table was set, and he’s just sat there chillin. Like how long was he there?

There is a sizable portion of the Star Wars fandom that makes me uncomfortable. UC Gundam too.

Alderaan was reaching for something, potentially a weapon, and the Death Star felt threatened and was forced to open fire.

Was it McDonald’s on the table. Maybe he would have played nice if it was Taco Bell.
