I Only discovered this game a few days ago when I stumbled across that community and got curious.
Been rubbish at it so far but it seems a good game I fluked myself as far as the shop once but haven’t got that far again.
One that is not widely known do you might not have heard about it is Raid: Shadow Legends
But on a more serious note, I like Mindustry.
Unciv, available through the Play Store or F-Droid. It’s a Civ 5 remake that is so good it’s surprising it’s free!

Endless Sky found it’s way onto my device recently.
Mindustry is a mix of a base builder and tower defense. It’s also available for PC.
Feudal Tactics!. Super simple to pick up but def involves strategy. My favourite android game by far and a great distraction. Can download it from Fdroid!

What an absurd statement. In order for this to be true, there would have to be no FOSS android games. Even if only one existed, it would be the best one - even if it sucked.
Never mind the fact that there are several FOSS Android games that are quite good.
