Just to clarify I have played it once before on console. This is my first time playing on PC. It seems to me I did everything right to get the Leave ending. I examined the picture of Mary many times. I didn’t examine Angela’s knife once. I kept James in good health 95% of the time. I’m so perplexed right now. Am I missing something?

Did you let Maria take a lot of damage? Or did you leave her on her own a lot? Not sure how the remake tracks it, but this is another thing that some people don’t realize has an affect on the ending you get.
Again, not sure how the remake handles it because I couldn’t finish it, but in the original, James could injure Maria slightly by running into her, and doing this enough would affect your ending.
I don’t think I let her take any damage. I pretty much ignored her as much as possible.

Thanks, I’ll check it out. I wanna play it again once I get a GPU that can actually handle ray tracing so this will come in handy.
