On #MasterSystemMonday here’s “Altered Beast”. This is a 1989 port of #Sega’s 1988 System 16 arcade beat-em-up, with conversion duties being handled in-house by Sega R&D 2. The gimmick here is you play as a resurrected warrior who can transform into various beasts.

This was a launch title, if I recall, and way overhyped.
@[email protected] it wasn’t a launch title for the Master System, might have been for the Megadrive though. But you’re right, personally I don’t think it’s very good.
