I am in the minority in that I liked 4e’s system. And I have a decent collection of 4e books, including the DS book. Has anyone here run that, or played that? If so, how did it go?
I personally haven’t, but I have a previous DM and current friend who did and loved it.
I haven’t, but I want to post here because I love dark sun and I’m happy to see action in the community.
I haven’t looked at any of the 4e material, but I like that it’s set after Kalak’s death, but before any of the other metaplot stuff (I believe?). That’s a very exciting time for a DS campaign. I think they add a few of the 4e core races in and change some lore about other races, but I’m really not sure.
Have you read through the books? What’s cool about it?
I have played a fair amount of 4e, but have only skimmed the DS book.
