    My experience in college and at coding bootcamps: they don’t teach git in college or at coding bootcamps. Sure, they introduce you to it, but that’s about it. They don’t show you how it actually works or what to do when it breaks, so you wind up doing what it says in this comic.

    If you really want to learn git, practice git katas.

        Just keep in mind that while they are related, git and Github are two different things.

        You can learn and use Git without ever touching Github.

        they post well known famous comics and ask generic questions in the title. the account is maybe shared between a human and a bot idk. maybe used for developing a new bot. it feels definately weird to read these posts.

            You’re spot on this point… English is a cultivated language for me, so that I can interact with a larger world 🌍

    Yep, gir is awesome. But also notorious for being a mess sometimes. A perfectly explainable mess, but that’s what Linus likes it seems
