Massive nostalgia hit for this one. The update is crisp and smooth. Free update for current owners. Quake II 64 was relatively unknown and different to Quake II

Wait what?! That works? So you turn around and tilt up/down to move the camera? Like with a handheld VR device?

It all started with Splatoon 2 and now I use it on my steam pc with my switch controller and gyro.

How did you get steam to recognize the gyro? I have a bitdo pro 2 and I can’t get anything on PC to see the gyro in it. The software doesn’t really do anything except rebound keys. Is it a steam setting?

Fuck yeah. I haven’t tried out the multiplayer yet, but reviews are saying it works well.

Quake II never required GameSpy. GameSpy (formerly QuakeSpy) was a third party app to help Quake players find servers to join.

That said, this remaster includes a built in lobby browser.

I never played the n64 version. I didn’t even know it existed!

Very short but had a lot of fun! Playing a n64 game in 4k/60 is quite surreal

The turok remaster is a huge justice done to that game. Pure nostalgia

Playing this on the PSX was such a unforgettable experience. The soundtrack is a banger to this day, level design was interesting and made me want to push further.

Playing through again made me realise how good the level design is. It’s linear at heart but gives an open progression feel throughout the stages. Gun play is so tight.
