I’d say it probably is? The #10 cans seem to go for $40-60 each, at least the Mountain House ones. I’d jump on this if it was local to me.
There’s the risk that he didn’t actually store them properly like he said, but freeze dried stuff is fairly hardy. It will probably be “fine” for years past its posted expiration.
I ipen d the buckets and will be putting in fresh buckets. Did this so I could inspect everything. Of course I didn’t open the #10s. But everything looked great and I am very happy I pulled the trigger. Don’t forget to check marketplace peordically in your area. I actually found this deal because someone made a reddit post about the great deal they got by trolling Marketplace for survival food.
