Kai was a bit expensive on first sight but honestly when you look at what attackers go for these days I think it’s fine. I’m more uncomfortable with his wages than how much we paid for him tbh. But also he’s proved to be a good signing nevertheless.

The more I hear about this Madueke deal the more concerned I get. Seems like there are a lot of red flags with the player in this instance.
- He can play on the left but doesn’t want to and prefers to play on the right.
- We need another left winger (although Eze can play there).
- He would be extra competition for Nwaneri and probably push him down the pecking order on one of the free positions where he doesn’t have much competition.
- Nwaneri is already dragging his heels on a be contact because of match time concerns.
- He would cost a lot relative for what we are getting.
I’d rather us abandon this one and move on to another candidate.
Nwaneri talk is bullshit lol, it’s just agent nonsense. There’s like 4 teenagers that played more than Nwaneri last season. And in fairness we’d be signing Madueke primarily as RW backup to Saka. That being said, still not a fan of the signing.
