I’d just like to interject for moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, Tux…, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Tux (Linux mascot).

I’ll change the description to “Tux is a mascot of Linux, a free and open source operating system kernel, usually combined with GNU to form a full operating system.” and add a link to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tux_(mascot)

    Any objection?

It may be Tux, but it seems to be representing Linux rather than being itself, you wouldn’t label the arch logo as "a stylised arch and letter A’ and put that it was the logo for Arch Linux in the description, you’d label it “Arch Linux”, just because the logo/mascot has a name does not mean this should be any different.

Well, I call the arch logo “Arch logo” and not “Arch”, much like I call the flag of France “flag of France” and not “France”.

(Well, technically, on the canvas, it’s name “Arch Linux logo”)
