I dunno about everyone, but after a certain age definitely. 70 seems good, maybe slightly younger. Once you’re retiring you probably need to be reassessed and then regularly reassessed as you age.
My mum is mid-70s and I think it’s kinda insane that she passed her test in the 1970’s and is still able to drive legally. She’s got a much larger car than she’s ever been used to and can barely see over the steering wheel, and her reactions are terrible and she’s increasingly hesitant (which is often what leads to crashes).
Everyone need to mandatory driving tests too ebeey 10 years. And then make public transport more accessible
