Not defending western hypocrisy in general, but I support self-determination over military invasions. Most imperialist adventures were justified by claiming that the invaded nation was somehow bad enough to deserve it and it has always been bullshit.
I don’t disagree with you, it’s just that enthusiastic liberals love to gloss over issues like relatively widespread corruption and fascist elements in Ukraine. Also Ukraine doesn’t have a white west in terms of war crimes either (Amnesty International reported on that IIRC).

Tbh I haven’t really seen much of either libs defending any potential Nazis in Ukraine, or much discission of Ukraine having a back problem since relatively early in war with the azov battalion and Russia claiming they were fighting Nazis
I agree to the extent that Ukraine has a problem with fascists, but disagree to the extent that the bonapartist RF uses it as a legitimisation of their fraternal war
