Why make that assumption? I’d say there are even odds that it will be great or suck. They did a good job with Fallout so i don’t see why they can’t do a good job with Mass Effect.
Fallout was an outlier.
They also didn’t destroy The Expanse. That may be the closes TV series to ME out there.
…Amazon can’t do fantasy, no. But maybe they can do sci fi?
The expanse was moved there; they weren’t involved from the beginning.
I will say, this is much better suited to TV than Halo.
TBH its much better suited than Fallout, and they did okay with that.

Scary. I hope it turns out okay, but I’m not holding my breath for it.
And I LOVE Mass Effect so I have the most to lose if this turns out bad.
