Tax year is 2022. Notice date is 2025. This isn’t due to accumulation of massive amounts of interest. To owe that much money this person must have either made a ton of money or fucked up on their return super badly to have appeared to have made a ton of money.

I figured most sovcits were relatively poor or lower middle class.

They usually are, but today I found one who is a doctor.

This guy has been sending the IRS magic coupons and whatall for three years as “payment”.

There is/was a lawyer in Vancouver that was a Sovcit. She was in the news a few years ago. Truly wild combination.

Pretty much. This is tax evasion levels, like your million dollar company hasn’t paid anything in a decade.

If you’re poor as fuck, you often get money back.

Right, but first you get the bill and then fix it. He’s in the getting the bill stage but probably has no clue.

Well. If I received a bill like that I’d be considering looking into the dark arts

Sovcitizenry aside, I love the IRS just casually handing out a two week time window in which to pay them a hair under a quarter-million dollars 🤣

They’ve been fucking around for years of this isn’t just made up. The IRS is actually pretty chill unless you’re obviously trying to break the law.

Oh yeah, I totally know the sovcit screwed up somewhere and that this is totally warranted. I just thought the demand for a huge amount of money in a tiny time window was pretty funny, like they’re just expecting you to go into the other room and pull a quarter of a million dollars out of your couch cushions or something lol

I’m pretty sure if you use a toilet seat as a check, drawn on your IRS account, and signed at a 45 degree angle, in red ink, everything will be sorted.

Is there a way we can use alchemy to solve this problem?

What I’m I looking at? Is this some bill that only the most boneheaded person can get after ignoring all advice.
