Yes, it’s a real bird. I like the nickname “butter butt” though.

HELL YEAH. Love me some Blacklist. I made a ton of Blacklist reaction gifs at one point because I got sick of not being able to use any decent ones. Didn’t expect them to do quite so well

With the Merlin app, you can be certain it’s a yellow-rumped warbler and play everyone the audio clip of it warbling!

On a similar vibe, I’m 45, and one of the finest activities my partner and I enjoy is driving to a nearby beach, sitting in the car eating chips, and watching people walking their dogs.

If you’d told 25 year old me about this, he’d have laughed at you.

I guess it depends on what you did when you were younger. I had a paper route. 10 km on bicycle every day except sundays. And it was in the middle of nowhere, so lots of nature, and I got real good at doing pigeon calls (cupping hands and blowing between thumbs). It’s just that there’s not a lot of variety in Denmark, otherwise I might’ve gotten into it as a hobby.

I’m trying to figure out how this translates to the team advancing in the playoffs.

I’m reading the quote and I almost see it making sense in this perspective.

Planned to go fishing. Spent half an hour taking videos of two pileated woodpeckers doing a mating dance instead.

True story. Couldn’t help it for some reason. It was fascinating.
