Something I always wanted to build myself. But my personal solution would include a moisture sensor, to prevent adding to much water. This however is a great starting point and I will definitely take another look, when I get going!
That is still my end goal as well. But it works surprisingly well, but sure it could be more water efficient.
Any tips how to handle the inevitable corrosion on the moisture sensor? I had a project years ago and remember how the moisture sensor just corroded away.
