I mean the selfish carelessness of progressives today is really astonishing.
If your job sucks so bad because you have to make the most minor accommodations for your co-workers families, then just quit your job. Like, you have no responsibilities and nothing holding you back. What’s your problem?

First of all, no they don’t. There is a very small minority of MAGAs that are real preppers. (I actually have some respect for those people.)
The rest are just soulless suburban pawns that hide their racism in faux-Christianity or faux-libertarianism. The cat majority of them are up to their eyes in debt.
Those people aren’t the people that need to be reminded.

The biggest difference is that the state is still controlled by the federal government. If it wasn’t subservient to the US Federal government then a lot of things about it would have to change.
It would be a completely different place. I imagine it would closely resemble a Christian version of Turkey in a lot of ways.

If micro plastics were a problem then we should expect to see rapid increases in cancers in younger adults.

Yeah the dude is really wrong.
Your body is good at filtering out hydrophilic toxins. But for just about every other toxin… Not so much. Most hydrophobic toxins and other toxins, like heavy metals, VOCs, pesticides, micro plastics, etc., are man made and your body hasn’t had millions of years to evolve natural filters.
“They” are not.
It’s just one dude and that’s not going anywhere. It would require agreement of not only New Mexico (which is a non starter) and the federal government, which is equally not going to happen.
If Texas became it’s own nation, it would probably become a cross between Russia and Switzerland. It would quickly develop a highly centralized oligarchy, basically operating off of oil and gas exports, while still having good relationships with it’s larger neighbors and have beneficial tax policies.
It would become a great safe place for super rich people to hide money while it’s actual population declines economically.
They look at you like that because they know, right now, you are young and feel invincible. And you practically are.
But they know that you won’t be forever. And they know that you are missing an opportunity to prepare for the second half of your life because you are living to the fullest now.
And they know that it’s your choice to make.
The crash is going to be rough.

I’m an environmental engineer and environmental scientist and I specialize in industrial hazmat waste issues, but I recognize even I’m a bit out of my professional lane on this.
But if you were to identify specific “toxins” that you are interested in “cleansing” there are often methods to do that. But first, I would recommend talking to a health professional. And those cleanses are going to vary significantly based on the toxin of interest.
But your best general “cleanse” is to eat more green leafy vegetables and exercise regularly. And feel free to drink a 4oz glass of milk a couple times a week.
