Looking back on it, I think either outcome would have probably been bad for us just because of transportation issues. But for the record she did turn me down, about 5 minutes after I prompted her she said “welp, time to go back home to xxx” and I pursued no further.

I made a move on a coworker I really like. Asked her if she wanted to fool around because I thought I would only be around for another week or two. But now that I’ve found a new place to live around here, it made me realize how shitty my train of thought was to put her in that sort of position.

I’m stuck in limbo between trying to foster friendships in the small town I live in (for now) and preparing myself to make new friends in another state.
