They’re already beginning to try.
“Here we have the common Tankie, one of Lemmy’s more interesting denizens. Watch as they futility claim the superiority of communist China and rage at any mention that their utopian ideal has even a pastina of tarnish…”
The theory I’ve heard is that is exactly why they are doing it now, as apple has set the “side loading” precedent in the EU.
Think maga, but somehow “socialist” and really, really likes China (and usually Russia) and will wave away any negative points about them. Overall, pretty annoying.
Edit: For more examples, just read the OP’s comments. Not even joking, they’re pretty decent examples of how tankies talk, if you see them outside of their native habitat (ie .ml).
The best one.
I mean, the graphics were pretty impressive and the beginning premise was interesting, but after 3hrs I just kinda got more bored as the plot isn’t cohesive at all and figuring out where you need to go is actually rather annoying after a bit. I played a bit more than 3hrs because surely it would get better, but it didn’t seem to be so I gave up.
Finished up “my friend Pedro” a couple of weeks ago (absolutely recommend if you haven’t played it, especially with a high refresh rate screen), played control for a bit (interesting beginning, but the more you play the more confusing/boring I found it), and been revisiting doom eternal since I just upgraded my PC about a month ago. I was planning to play it through with the dlc expansions, then maybe try cyberpunk after. Also been intermittently playing “golf with your friends” when I have game night, pretty fun to play with friends and doesn’t take too much effort.
And maybe make American copyright invalid in their territories. Might actually be good for their economies.
“Proceeds to forget what they were doing, and starts another task.”
Or alternately,
"Proceeds to forget where they put the item, spends 30 min looking for something that is almost in front of them. "
Doubt it. He’s just trying to directly apply Reaganism to his country, which the Republicans obviously want to make look good.
Which is why AOC would make an excellent president and Khan as a VP with the ability to do behind the scenes change beyond just the FTC. Let me dream, it would be amazing to have competent people heading the executive branch.
New troll account.
I wish she would run with AOC in '28. That might possibly be the best ticket I can imagine.
Not entirely sure, but if you are on ATT prepaid there is a bs list of phones that are supported, and while I’ve heard of ways of bypassing it they can revoke your phone randomly. I’m pretty sure it applies to most ATT stuff, but I suspect the main idea is that priority traffic is gatekeeped.
That being said, ATT has a whitelist for phones on its network, so that should be noted.
While I don’t like 11 (have to use it daily for work), my biggest gripe is it’s even harder to fix than the last couple of releases of windows before it. In XP and 7, you just adjusted settings in the control panel, and if it was a niche setting, it was in the control panel, probably a few layers deep. In 10, you had the settings app, which was fine for basic stuff, but if you went beyond the basics you were going to control panel (and yes, it coexists with a settings app). Now in 11, the settings app was expanded, but there still exists a bunch of stuff in the control panel, but it’s often not obvious where you would do something.
Oh wow, hadn’t even noticed that autocorrect messed that up.
