That’s a false statement. It needs to have carbon-hydrogen non-ionic bonds for it to be organic. Think carbonic acid vs a ketone of some sort.

Showerthoughts•I feel like I'm spending less time on social media after switching to Lemmy
3·3 年前And that’s why I’m never going back. I absolutely love it here. I scroll my feed for a few minutes here and there, drop a comment or two, and I’m done. No feeling of missing something cool. I’ve probably seen it and I’m good.

Product development. Anything associated with building software products get a lot of traction on LinkedIn
Definitely. I said this in another reply as well, but I don’t respond unless they say something very specific about my background. I know AI can do that but that seems the best way to go for now.
For sure there are still those. I usually get one decent one for about 20 ransoms that don’t say a word. I usually don’t respond unless they say something specific about my background.
I think that depends on what profession you’re in. I get contacted on the regular by recruiters on that platform for jobs. It’s where I have found my last 2 positions in 7 years.
Absolutely perfect. People that joined today will have no clue what the beans are about and I’m all for it. It does feel like home.
P8 in a Williams is still a pretty damn good result. I’m shocked at the McLaren pace in qualy. Seems like they got some nice upgrades. I

416·3 年前For real. Even as a white guy, I’m tired of this shit as well. Wish we could get someone younger and more progressive on the ballot. It’s time to get those old ducks out of office. They have no grasp on how shit really works these days.

2·3 年前Definitely. I’m was trying to state that basic info about you is readily available to companies regardless of how you choose to interact with them.

37·3 年前It is. They know everything about you. Even every store you have shopped at knows a lot about you. It really doesn’t take much interaction for a company to get a lot of info. It’s relatively easy to get an email and from there, if they wanted, they can get the rest of your profile from a 3rd party who has your data all matched up already. They can also build your profile pretty easily themselves as well.

2·3 年前Looks awesome! I’ll definitely need to check this one out.
Really appreciate all the hard work going on behind the scenes! Feels night and day different after the changes. Also appreciate the transparency. Nice to see in this day and age.

No Stupid Questions•Is it just me or did anyone else became a more avid poster since joining lemmy?
12·3 年前I’ve posted more but I’m still mostly a lurker. I have enjoyed reading the actual discussion here. The comments at reddit got to be so formulaic and the same across posts, it’s refreshing to see actual thought and effort go into making comments.
BeardliesttoReddit Migration@kbin.social•What was the subreddit that represented to you the best example of downspiral of quality? To me it was /r/dataisbeautiful
4·3 年前For me it was /r/cfb. That place was completely insufferable if you were simply a fan of a particular team. When it started it wasn’t bad, like an occasional ribbing if your team under-performed. I get that it’s cyclical, but man, was it bad. I also don’t think that most people realized it was mostly a circlejerk and real content was hard to find in that mountain of shit.

BeardliesttoTechNews@radiation.party•[TECHCRUNCH] Twitter now requires an account to view tweets
5·3 年前How do they expect to bring new people into the platform? No tweet is important enough for the activation energy of someone to create an account to view it. Fuck twitter anyway, but from a product perspective, that’s a pretty dumb idea unless they have positive metrics on conversions in this manner.

I think that makes it worse. It’s obvious that he was doing that with this change in mind. Especially if he didn’t buy any over that period.
