Also their birth rate is the lowest in the world, but like much of Asia, they’re fairly xenophobic, so without immigration or kids, they’re likely to stop having a working population while the government continues paying out a pension fund, resulting in a permanent recession and/or total collapse starting within the next 10 years. It’s WILD that South Korea, for all its successes, is going to collapse BEFORE North Korea, because of xenophobia and sexism.
You assume many Americans aren’t considering money itself a form of god and therefore that having vast wealth is therefore virtue

When I lived in an area with high opiate addiction rates, I regularly saw bumper stickers which read “shoot your local drug dealer.” They made me absolutely livid. The dealer is only doing anything because the Sacklers got them addicted
Correct. Consent is so fucking hot. For so many reasons
I’m personally getting caught up, just finished Wano, which One Pace has only covered MOST of and the viewing experience noticeably declined when I went to the official content. Would recommend, even for first view
Honestly pacing is the anime’s biggest weakness. The show simply has dogwater pacing to help it maintain a consistent run since 1999. One Pace, which cuts roughly half of the total run time is a godsend if you ever want to watch the show

For sure. It’s disheartening when the game has clearly had its design compromised, making a worse game to accommodate microtransactions
What? Polymorph might disable the target, but if its a single target boss fight, what does that help? Whether you kill the transformation or wait for the spell to time out, the result is the same

If you enjoyed the sombre tone of some of the other media, I’d encourage giving Halo 3 ODST a shot. Invasion of earth from the perspectives of more typical marines, not a supersoldier. It’s still very clearly halo, but the vibes are completely different.

This has been on my radar for a while, but I haven’t picked it up yet. Good to know that it’s at 1.0 and was previously expecting such progress wipes
He’s certainly convinced some other people to run on democratic socialist platforms. Omar Fateh was “the Mamdani of Minneapolis” though he just narrowly lost his mayoral election (after being snubbed by the party). Here’s hoping we see a lot more momentum in that direction

Wasn’t Valhalla the one that had “time saver” microtransactions?

It’s both. Toyota is the third biggest anti-climate lobbyist in the world after, you guessed it, some fuel companies.
Having just come back to the US from Europe, I immediately miss nutriscore on groceries. A to E letter grades for the purpose of comparing two similar products to tell which are higher in sugar/salts/saturated fatty acids and which have more protein/fiber/fruits/vegetables/healthy oils. It was so nice picking up, say, two boxes of cereal and going “oh. This one is full of garbage and this one isn’t.” Not a perfect system, but a very valuable one

So, someone correct me if I’m wrong but… Isn’t that not how government funded projects works? Like it was my understanding you can’t just say “hey I want to donate to the building of xyz by the federal government” and hand over that much cash. So are they donating to the government for a project, or just giving cash to Trump directly?
That’s already the case for like 75% of pokemon games since the 3ds eShop closed, iirc
Worse. You need to use the card to play the game, even though it’s just a key to unlock downloading the game. Worst of both worlds.
AI right now is actually not bad at solving captchas now
F-Zero GX is the goat, but nintendo didn’t make it! It’s actually made by Sega’s AV (amusement vision) team, now known as ryu ga gotoku studio
