My grandma was born during WW2. She was still a child when many of Germany‘s cities were leveled. It was normal to her. Daily life. But people moved on. They rebuilt the country and grandma lived through the most prosperous times our country has ever seen. And she did her part in it, working in a factory and raising several children. It wasn‘t always easy but she has a good life and is pretty healthy for her age.

Germany should probably consider expelling all US troops stationed in Germany in response and make a public announcement that this is being discussed at least. You can‘t just sit still when a supposedly close ally suddenly slaps the door at you.

Germany‘s struggles are not post pandemic anymore. Haven‘t been for years. Maybe China should stop supplying Russia with military gear so this war on our continent would come to an end? Just a thought.

Ich finde, das kann man so nicht behaupten. Die NSDAP hat die Justiz komplett ausgehebelt und sich einverleibt. Eine AfD käme da auch nicht drum herum, da sie einige verfassungswidrige Parteiziele haben. Also es ist echt nicht so, dass die Justiz etwas passives wäre, nur zusieht. Die Leute die dort arbeiten, wissen genau, dass die AfD sie größtenteils aus dem Weg räumen wollen.

An der Stelle möchte Ich noch mal betonen, dass die AfD auf ihre Rechtlichkeit dringend überprüft gehören, da sie zuletzt in Gießen wieder einmal bewiesen haben, dass sie das Grundgesetz nicht als Fundament, sondern als Hindernis sehen.

Ich finde das ganze auch sehr bizarr. Was, wenn die Verbindung unterbrochen wird und irgendein System nicht richtig reagiert und dann was passiert? Dann werden Finger herumgezeigt und am Ende gibt es außer einer kleinen Geldstrafe keine Folgen, weil Firma kann ja keinen Führerschein verlieren oder in den Knast? Wir sprechen hier ja nicht von Flugverkehr, wo man sich meilenweit aus dem Weg gehen kann. Hier kann schnell mal was passieren. Also das muss auf alle Eventualitäten vorher abgeklärt sein und nicht „erst mal machen und dann aus den Fehlern lernen“. Wäre schön, wenn das mal einer erläutern würde.

On one hand monetization is the thing that ruins platforms for me because it invites grifters and even decent people are becoming obsessed with numbers. Most people see content creation only as a career path and not something to do for fun anymore. I find that depressing at times.

On the other hand we currently live in a capitalist world and have to play by those rules to some extend. I learned most of the things I do for a living from Youtube because professionals do Blender tutorials as a side gig or even for a living. There probably wouldn‘t be nearly as much knowledge out there without this motivator. Or at least not in this form that is easy to understand for me. The official Blender documentation usually isn‘t the first place I‘m searching through when I have a problem.

So I see where you‘re coming from but it‘s a fine line between helpful and loathsome.

Because the current management have no idea about the identity of the brand. They just want to make money quick but all they accomplish is losing market share.

The Haribo brand has been going downhill rapidly since hired managers took over leadership. It has been run by the same family for generations but the latest heirs had no interest in a leadership role. So it‘s run by random business people now who only make short term decisions based on numbers. When they moved their headquarters from Bonn (the town part of the company‘s name is based on. It‘s part of it‘s very DNA) to a tax haven state to save cost, everyone knew it was over. That company is just a Brand name with no identity now.

It‘s squeaky clean. I think it has more to do with either preference or you severely underestimate the noise of 10 year old gaming hardware.

Ich denke, dass es auch an den Unternehmen liegt, die ausgetreten sind und an denen, die intern vielleicht mit einem Austritt gedroht haben. Es sind also nicht bloß wage Prognosen, die sich auf die öffentliche Meinung stützen, welche den Verband zum Umdenken bewegt haben. Das alleine hätten sie vielleicht unterschätzt und weiter gemacht. Der Verband könnte aber allein daran zerbrechen, dass zu viele Unternehmen sich trennen, um relevant zu bleiben.

Ich lobe sie ja eher selten, aber hier haben ein paar Unternehmen gezeigt, dass mit ihnen kein Faschismus zu machen ist und das wird zu einem Teil zum Umdenken beigetragen haben.

Na ja und der Verband hat zumindest mal zugegeben, dass die Wirtschaftspläne der AfD eine Vollkatastrophe für den Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland sind. Das hat zwar mit Freiheit und Demokratie nichts zu tun, aber es ist trotzdem wichtig, das mal klarzustellen, weil sich die AfD ja immer als Wirtschaftlich überlegen darstellt, wenn das Gegenteil der Fall ist. Die haben absolut kein Interesse an einer Starken Wirtschaft oder Wohlstand für alle.
