  • Steam, I can install the Steam client without any problems on moat distros, also Valve has done a lot of things to make the Linux gaming better.

Gog doesn’t have a desktop app for Linux, they’re focused totally Windows so I don’t care about it.

If I want “DRM free” games, then I pay for the original version with DRM and then pirate it to play whenever I want.

  • Almost every book I read back when I was a school student.

Each month we had to read a boring book chosen by the school, and at the end of each month we had a annoying test with questions like: “When the protagonist discovered the truth, what was the emotion he felt?” Or “How did the author felt when writing this?” So I had to read 300 pages of a boring book and pay attention to each detail each month.

I don’t dislike reading, actually I enjoy good books, but reading something against my will is sickening.

  • Me, tbh I don’t like meta but the groups in facebooks is probably what keeps me there, for example there is a group about an anime and the guys there literally translate the new volumes of the novel months faster than other piracy sites, almost in the moment, there is also the memes and other posts that only appear around those groups. Not even reddit has that content, so what keeps me attached to facebook is mainly anime groups

Idk, but it really sounds like something that could be possible in a future. Sending matter sounds difficult since the mass problem but electric information has barely any mass (or it does not?) Something really difficult would be calculating the possition of earth in the universe in the past and sending a signal to a receptor in the past earth

I can’t stand dubs, I think that japanese VA are a lot better. Anyway, I have been reading subs since I was 8 years old so I read them so fast that it doesn’t bother me.

  • (I’ll try to write without a translator so my text may be wrong) こんにちは、最近日本語の単語を勉強しました、理由が読みにできたいけど漢字は本当多い。正直もしかしてこれはただの時間の事、多分一年からは必要だ。 ところでどんな本は日本語の学びがいい?最近「元気」がよみていました、でもいつも私はもっと本の読むが欲しい

What I tried to write: Hello, lately I have been studying japanese vocabulary, the reason is I want to be able to read but there are lot’s of kanjis. To be honest it’s a matter of time, probably just one more year is necessary for that. By the way, what book could be good for learing japanese? I have been recently reading “Genki” but I’m always searching for more books to read.

Plain text files, all files sorted like 01S-C1 which means number 01 of a solution on C1 normally the last part means something like idk Linux? For example I solved a problem in my computer for the fifth time so I write 05S-L1.txt

  • On my case I use wine since I also use textractor (to read japanese) Well, to start I followed the guide that’s in this sub about how to play visual novels on GNU/Linux and another one in learnjapanese .moe (I think that’s the page) After following those guides it almost worked but it did still had problems, I wrote this about a month ago on a txt:

    " Solution steps: 0: Start a Wineprefix with WINEARCH32: //WINEPREFIX=~/.testwine WINEARCH=win32 wineboot

1: Change Wine system locale to Japanese: //WINEPREFIX=/home/cyo/.testwine LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 TZ=Asia/Tokyo winetricks --gui

2: Once started the gui you must install (Winetricks --gui): -dxvk… //details: ‘Not supported for Wine GE 8.0’ but it was installed anyway that’s fine, I guess. -dotnet35 -vcrun from 2003 to 2015 -lavfilters (including extra) -quartz -wmp9,wmp10 -wine gecko…? //details: wine suggested to install it aftter wmp10, does not seem relevant but anyway…

    3: After installing this I executed: WINEPREFIX=/home/cyo/.testwine winetricks alldlls=default "

The wine/winetricks version is: -Wine GE 8.0 -Winetricks staging This downloaded from AUR (or chaotic AUR I think)

  • What I mention is what happened in October of 2019 in Chile.

Yeah, I know that they need to attract attention to a protest to be listened. BUT by no means it justifies destroying and robbing small businesses, burning churches and destroy schools (while asking for better education)

They literally went and made a mess of things. They could have just made a crowd, block the road, go to the government institutions but they choosed violence to other citizens. After that they left things even worse than they were, that’s a sign of lack of common sense and responsibility.

Many people lost their jobs, schools ended with heavy damag, the Metro stations where I live ended up in a mess, and for some reason they burned churches. Yeah.
