Most people get much more protein than is recommended by government health bodies. People seem to think more is better when it comes to protein.

We knew all along it was impossible. Green washing at its finest. We need to eat much less meat.

Insect protein is quite a jump. There are millions of people around the world getting their protein from plant sources already. It’s totally viable right now. People just have to choose it. And yes, the government should incentivise that.

Even in places with good public transport and biking options, people still choose to drive. We need to make driving less appealing.

The government should be working with these people help them do it better, instead of just opposing them.

They say the best sunscreen is the cheapest one, because people aren’t stingy when they apply it. Apply a thick layer, it helps.

It’s tricky how we value things. That is the key determinate of wealth. In any given year, maybe 1 in 30 dwellings get sold. Yet we assume all other dwellings are priced the same as those.

My partner came home later than expected and I felt anxious. By this definition, my partner was committing intimate partner violence? What?

Sounds like a pain in the ass

Drop-bears are probably the biggest risk he’ll have to deal with. Tell him to be careful walking under any tree as you never know when they’ll attack.

Tax is paid on profits, not revenue. For many businesses COGS is a very large percent of revenue.

Cars kill way more people and they’re not suggesting we ban cars.

It also smells a bit that politicians are exempt.

They should index it to inflation. Otherwise it is an underhanded way to start taxing most people in the future.

We need to get these death traps off our roads! If anything else was killing people at these levels, they would be stopped. Somehow cars are exempt.
