I don’t care what book it is, if it’s your book, you should be allowed to do whatever you want with it, if you wanna burn it in public and the police can guarantee your safety, then go ahead. It’s not what book it is for me.

I guess freedom of speech can be hard to understand when you lack thereof.
I was on the phone and got to Rule 11, if I was on the computer I would have continued but will restart from scratch later when I am on the computer…

Yeah, it is a joke on xkdc and the joke is based on SQL injection, a type of database attack.
Undrar om det är per instans eller över hela federationen.

Actually Useful AI@programming.dev•OpenAI API: Function calling, longer context, lower pricesEnglish
2·3 years agoAh, i think there is a miss understanding of their name, it’s not open as in open source, it’s open as in open research. They publish all their research for others to duplicate. And yes, there is other models out there, but on one as good as GPT4. Unless you have a computer with 640 ram, you can’t run it. So yeah, compared to fetching data from a database that could be done on a Raspberry and generating data that requires a monster computer, i understand that they wanna put a price on the API.

Most likely written by a computer indexer, but i agree, it’s cooler to imagine a employee writing labels all day and finally arrived to this and then just quit their job.
Have lost the cover so we took the cover from an other remote that has the same cover but we don’t use that remote, lost that one too, now we have taped the battery in place and need to replace the tape regularly…

Actually Useful AI@programming.dev•OpenAI API: Function calling, longer context, lower pricesEnglish
2·3 years agoUntil someone trains a model (and it will happen) that match or outperform GPT4 and i can run i locally, i will use this to experiment and prototype random stuff that i find interesting ^^
Edit; a big difference here too is that Reddit just fetch data from an database, it’s just as expensive as the main site and app while GPT is generative and use quite lot of RAM and VRAM per action.

I could argue this, I am Swedish and we have “free education”, you only have to pay living costs and we have a really good deal with CSN loan that has the lowest rates in the country and you only have to pay back when you are employed.
But to the point, about 70% of the students leave because it’s not for them. Either they change program (packages of classes) or just drop out.
But I think the strength of not being an uninformed country is before collage, we learn about politics and it’s structures, how to vote and stuff like that in the gymnasium, it’s like Highschool. Not sure how your highschool works but in gymnasium you pick a “program”/major, example “Physics, Electric, Economics” and stuff like that, and it’s focused on that with added basic lessions, so it’s sort of like Collage in US but at an earlier age. Most does not go to collage/university since gymnasium is usually enough.
Edit; If we look at the demographic of “SD” (Sverige Demokraterna) an extreme far right party in Sweden, its a clear connection that they never finished gymnasium or that they dropped out. (Highschool drops out), but they also only had roughly 11% of the votes of the total population.
