If you have multiple stories opening upper windows and blowing air out while pulling air in through lower windows is also effective. Adding a fan to blow air up the stairs can also help.

It is their responsibility to ensure that everything beyond their target is safe before firing. This can become a grey area whem walls or other concealment is behind the target or when the target is threatening enough people that the risk may be worth it to end the threat, such as injuring 1 bystander to save 4 other victims from being shot, almost like the trolley problem.

Most cities have noise bylaws. Revving an engine at 3am is usually in violation of those laws, running a lawn mower in day time is not. I get that it sucks they are loud and many lawns are useless, but its also much more dangerous to mow in the dark and more people are sleeping at night than in the day time. You also have to make some loud noise with our current standard mowing technology, but the same isn’t true for the cars in question, they are modified intentionally to be much louder.

But they need their bike to be loud so other drivers can hear them as they illegally pass, lane split, weave through traffic, and overall be a menace on the roadway.

Thats exactly why so many people think EVs are the only solution. They have never actually experienced fast, efficient, convenient, and clean public transit. I’ve never heard of a case in traffic court where your outcome is worse than the original ticket, except in cases where an officer has reduced 30 over the limit to 20 over the limit, in which case there is a chance you will be charged with 30 over if you lose the case.
