It’s like you know them.
Just add screaming meows.
It’s like you know them.
Just add screaming meows.
Oh totally.
I’m on the us west coast and the national news (think USA today, cnn, fau, etc.) is all “there is smoky weather over there or smthn, anyway here is a monkey dancing” each summer (local news is covering the smoke obviously)
BUT as soon as it started drifting eastward and reached Nyc/DC then the news lit up with it about climate change/hazardous conditions.
Funny how that happens
This is basically the Moomin game on the Switch.
Its really fun, not too long tho.
I absolutely cannot wait for kids to learn about “vegetative electron microscopy”
AI absolutely cannot replace teachers.
Augment possibly but replace? No.
By augment I mean provide some help at the direction of the teacher.

Feeble - that is an odd spelling of “complicit”
Every GOP congressperson/senator has the ability to stop this but they do not by choice. They are all complicit in supporting the presidents illegal actions.
“Learnings”
Yes its an old word and was repopularized by Borat of all things.
Ugh. Just say lessons or something. Leanings just sounds … wrong.
Yup, they totally kept jacking prices up to get as much as they can from the consumer.
McDonald’s execs are not featured in this video but you can bet they were not sitting idly by when others were getting “as much as the consumer can absorb” read: keep increasing prices until sales increases stall.
Nope, just no, screw them.
And all to fund tax cuts for the wealthy - who don’t need them.
Exactly - they can’t use Russia’s military strength as the boogie-man any longer.
Boeing (just one example) has been pushing for lower or self regulation for a while.
That was part of what led to the 737-MAX issue:
Airlines concerned for safety will be moving away from Boeing if the deregulation continues.
The libertarian BS is going to set America back a century - in many respects.
I would love to have inheritance tax as something to worry about.
It would mean I have millions to leave my family.
I skimmed over your line “living envy the dead” - that’s an awesome turn of phrase.
I’m sure many (most?) people would want to stop/reduce climate change before this gets worse.
However line-must-go-up capitalism says no, because money.
Under our current capitalist system, until it affects quarterly reporting I don’t see significant change coming from corporations. On the contrary, corporations will resist change because change is risky and expensive.
I guarantee those execs think they will be building Star Trek / Federation level society. But the comment above is right, it will be Cyberpunk just with shittier technologies driven by “the invisible hand of the market” or some other drivel.
The first time a ceo or politician gets assassinated by drone-strike will cause some severe lockdown on those things.
No matter what country it happens in.
And we fuck up other places to, lets not sell the US short.
I agree.
Amazon is difficult to find what you want if you are searching for a specific brand or item. It shows you many options.
To me it seems like Amazon wants to sell you something as long as the make a sale. Whether it is what you actually wanted is a distant second.
I think it is exactly this simple: money.
The entire congress can be bought either outright or with the threat of a primary challenger that is extremely well funded. That will get whoever the ultra-rich wants in line.
We are entirely screwed. I hope I’m wrong though.
This made my day.
