Cooking With Wild Game. It’s entirely character driven. If you don’t like the characters after the first volume you will have a bad time.

I didn’t finish the volume, I was looking for a series after finishing one and think it was just the wrong story at the wrong time. So it’s in my revisit list. I didn’t have anything against the characters but they just weren’t clicking with me.

In fact it might have been Death March I had finished, so trying to get to know new characters after travelling with the gang was too much.

There were a couple of series I was thinking of picking up but I have forgot them since.

7th Prince: The MC’s design will keep turning people away from this series, which is a shame because of how consistently fun it has been to watch. Production is also really good, the magic spell effects are beautiful.

I originally dropped it after 3 episodes. But after your comment I have gone back and watched Season 1 and enjoyed it. It’s the usual overpowers fantasy but they keep drawing me in.

I was debating posting in books instead as this volume is not a Light Novel, my e-reader said 877 pages.

I haven’t read Apothecary Diaries yet, but I can imagine that if they’re written from Maomao’s perspective, then it’s not surprising if it’s very simple, because her personality that I know from the anime is very dry.

Death March to a Parallel World

I binge read volumes 1-9 so I paused it for a bit and came back. After pausing and reading something else I came back and caught up the whole series.

It’s a great series, would recommend

Reincarnated as a sword

At first I couldn’t get into it. I ended up listening to the audiobooks up to where the anime ended and then continuing from there. It took a bit longer until I was sucked into the story and pulled along.

I have stopped again as there was about 3 fight scenes in a row and it just got too much. I will probably try to pick it up again soon.

Apothecary diaries

The writing seems too simplistic. It doesn’t give any depth just maomao doing maomao things. No describing the world or characters just maomao did this, that, the other.

I would love to read it I really enjoy the anime but it is just dragging. I am not sure how to get past this one. I might try reading the volumes which continue after the anime to see if new content gets me into it.

I haven’t finished any LNs but I read a few chapters from <The Apothecary Diaries>. Has anyone read it? I have tried several times but I just can’t get into it. The writing just seems too simplistic and lacks detail.

I finished the 2nd season of the anime this week and it hooked me again. It’s one of the ones I would like to read, but it just can’t get into.
