Thanks for the TL;DR. As a Tesla owner I’m a bit disappointed that the article didn’t mention charging on solar as well. My car is set up to charge up to 50% off the grid, then only by solar above 50%. True, it requires having solar panels, but as a result I’m likely paying a lot less than this guy. And setting the car up to charge by solar like this is very simple. It’s pretty much just flipping a switch in the Tesla controls and setting the battery percentage where it switches to solar only.

Trump is reportedly planning to put an end to all those prescription drug ads on TV, basically reinstating a ban that was rescinded in the 1990’s. I could get behind that.

I still use a Roku that was gifted to me, but only thanks to also having a pihole. The amount of logging & ads it blocks on the Roku is insane. If that ever stopped working I would ditch the Roku in a heartbeat.

So then what about those photos of the “person of interest”? He wasn’t carrying a rifle or anything else… I’d expect to see him carrying the rifle or something of similar shape/size. If those were from before the shooting then how did he get the rifle up to the roof? If they were from after the shooting then how did the rifle get to the woods where it was found?

How hilarious would it be if that wasn’t the murder weapon and the shooter planted it ahead of time as a distraction.

And here I was wondering how they would make fun of this in next weeks new episode…

Didn’t some TV news talking head claim it could have been somebody shooting their gun in celebration and it all being a terrible accident?

I used to be on a team of 10 people that installed & managed roughly 3,000 servers and associated networking gear. We got hit hard in the early 2000’s by the Capacitor Plague and it fell on me to identify around 700 faulty motherboards and manage their replacement.

My local news reported that a black clad figure was seen running across a rooftop immediately following the shooting so they’re trying to ID who it was. It’s the same rooftop where there have already been reports the shot likely came from. I forget the name of the building though.

But Charlie told me trans people were unhinged and responsible for mass shootings, not highly precise targeted assassinations. Just go ask Char… oh, right.

I’m willing to bet they’ll still find somebody to pin this on. Somebody whose skin isn’t lily white, and whose name may sound slightly foreign.

I saw a similar video a couple weeks ago. The bridge was mined but the Russians had apparently strung up anti-drone netting all around it as well. Watching the drone maneuver around to find a clear path to reach & detonate the explosives really made me think it was some sort of modern day 3D video game…
