11·3 days agoRight. But cleaning up the old files left over from swapping your DE is much easier if you actually have read and write access to those files. When you swap DEs, it’s gonna leave shit behind whether you’re atomic or not. But atomic systems have more barriers to cleaning them up, to prevent the user from accidentally cleaning the wrong things.

21·3 days agoOn atomic systems like Bazzite and the universal blues, getting rid of the old files from the previous DE can be a huge hassle. On normal systems it’s a lot easier

But here in Belgium…
Forgive my ignorance, isn’t there a large portion of your countrymen that speak German as one of their primary languages?
I’m very interested to hear your thoughts on how it is possible to have a dictatorship of the proletariat, while simultaneously having an actual dictator.
I’m actually not disagreeing that the USSR was socialist, by the way. For most intents and purposes, they were. But “dictatorship of the proletariat” at least to me, sounds like a democracy which is antithetical to authoritarianism
“Dictator of the proletariat” didn’t mean the proletariats needed a dictator. It meant they needed to be the dictators. The common people must decide what the common people need, is what that sentence means.
Nnnoo… freyja is a perfectly fine deity to pick for this sentiment, in fact a better pick than Odin. As she presides over love and war, whereas Odin is just their allfather

Davy in the Navy
Davy, or Davie, is an actual name that people use. It’s not a butchering of Dave. I have a supervisor named Davie
For the most part, sure. They still have the intelligence of like a toddler or something (haven’t researched it in like a year). Respect is only so relevant to their instincts

News•US transportation department unveils first female-modeled crash test dummy

It just depends on how the water is routed to each appliance. Some have them inline, so running one affects the other. Some have them separate. Some do a bit of both
My workplace does this, there’s still a door but it’s always open

Well she’s already in the room, seeing it, so I dunno why you bothered asking. God, mom, so uncool
