I just don’t like the style of RA as much, and I’m usually a campaign-only player for C&C anyway

I’m more of a Tiberian Dawn person myself

MarauderIIC@dormi.zoneto Games•Looking for a local co-op game to play with my SO (Steam Deck)English1·2 months agoOften it’s reported that a larger and/or brighter crosshair helps. Maybe try an overlay with a large neon pink crosshair or a piece of clear tape with a big dot of marker on it sometime? I get it’s probably not a problem that you are interested in putting time into solving any more though.

MarauderIIC@dormi.zoneto Games•Looking for a local co-op game to play with my SO (Steam Deck)English1·2 months agoAs I recall, the ‘campaign’ gets impossible to do with two players because of the inability to look up enough stuff in parallel. There are mods and custom bombs though.
This is pretty sweet

MarauderIIC@dormi.zoneto Games@sh.itjust.works•What game(s) would you use to introduce someone to WASD/Mouse controls?English8·3 months agoStardew Valley.
It’s 2D, co-op, not difficult or punishing, has few inputs, and is approachable mechanically.
Your description of vendor lock-in is obviously solvable by developers making a competing UI and workflow similar to the most popular software, and enabling new features under another menu. That said, there is obviously minimal interest in doing so.
This is UI. UI is not vendor lock-in. Lock-in costs users money to break out of, not developers.

MarauderIIC@dormi.zoneto Warframe@dormi.zone•Frustration with Prime Things and the VaultEnglish13·7 months agoI sell the extras for plat on the website warframe.market and buy the things I don’t have on Warframe.market. Then I sell faction stuff on warframe.market and buy things on warframe.market. Then I grind relics and sell the extras on warframe.market and if I fail the rare parts I buy it on warframe.market.
So, lots of selling stuff I have and buying stuff I don’t… On warframe.market because trade chat is a rip off.
And honestly I spend some cash too, whenever I have 75% off, but I don’t think that it is strictly necessary.
There are zipper “fitted” sheets that avoid this problem
