As someone who lives and works online. I wish.

It seems super consolidated, right up until you start listing the “handful” of big vendors that run the Internet… You get passed the first 3 or 4 big players and end up with a long list of “of yeah, these guys too”…

Alphabet, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, CloudFlare, valve (and every other game publisher), Netflix, PayPal, Uber, Spotify, Apple, Yahoo (yes, they still exist), xitter, Rackspace, zoom, Dropbox, Etsy, Pinterest…

The list is super long.

And that’s just companies that people would have heard of. The companies that actually make the Internet work is a much longer list, and GoDaddy plays a surprisingly large role as well. There’s also entire business sectors that most people aren’t aware of, for network transit services, and interconnects.

It’s a pretty deep topic.

Well, the feds did it to themselves. Rather than focusing on the crime of murder, they focused on the victim, who is completely unrelatable, and generally disliked, then they focused on the motive, which they presented in the context of “it was pre-meditated!” And everyone just saw a very relatable person in the accused and collectively we all kind of went “mood” … So I’m not sure what they expected, but that CEO guy that’s not important enough to remember the name of, who died, is not the victim here.

The victims are all the people that were denied while CEO guy was in charge, denied by the policies he put in place, promoted, demanded that people enforce, or any of the above… Luigi is just the latest in a long line of victims that this guy has caused suffering to.

That’s strange, I was out with him having a meal that day when he supposedly was doing the thing he’s accused of… Certainly you must be thinking of a different day…

As a Canadian, I’m genuinely confused why anyone is still investigating Biden. He’s not the president. Why bother?

They’re not criminal charges, so what’s the big deal?

Sometimes I just don’t understand why some of the things that are happening there, are still happening… But ok.

They want an excuse to implement martial law.

If this happens then they have all the reason to bypass all due process and just oppress everyone.

They want it to go this way. They wanted the National guard to get involved in California’s “riots”. They are looking for the excuse to throw out the courts, the house, the Senate, the supreme Court… Literally everyone from any say in what happens or any ability to overturn, stop or otherwise impede their ability to control everyone and everything.

The fucking boot licker repubtards are making sure that it happens, and they’ll act like so many others, shocked, when they end up under the boot of the people they voted for.

As an outsider looking in, this reality is extremely obvious to me. Is it somehow not clear to Americans?

Payphones are still a thing. They’re more rare, but they still exist.

This is actually the right move.

Literally find a payphone, pick it up, call 911 and say there’s a group of dangerous looking masked individuals at (name of location), and I’m scared that it’s not safe here.

Then immediately drop the phone and walk away. It seems rude but if you hang up or stop responding the correct action on the 911 operators side is to expect the worst and literally send everyone to that location, lights and sirens.

I think some of the really fancy installs have a secondary tankless water heater for the shower…
