It can indeed, as long as the icons are svg’s
I get it. This is just a step towards being able to recolor icons in whatever color scheme you’d like, multicolored included.

To each their own. I’m working on the ability to apply any color scheme to any icon set.

It’s not new, but it’s newer than 5.4, which is what mint 20.3 uses by default. I’m experimenting with 6.x and may upload an ISO with that in the future.
