That’s why the police have the vehicles to begin with, most of them are ridiculously out of shape. I mean the typical shoe they wear are proof very few of them are actually fit enough to even try the activity of running.

OberonSwanson@sh.itjust.worksto No Stupid Questions•Can it take months to get over being laid off?English6·28 days agoThis sounds like anxiety and possibly major depressive disorder. All you can do is see a therapist, or just keep forcing yourself to get up instead of laying down and tell yourself it will get better. Just small steps for now.

OberonSwanson@sh.itjust.worksto News•GOP tax bill would mean 11.8 million people uninsured, $1.1 trillion in health cutsEnglish8·29 days agoNo, they will just try convincing us to do purge-type scenarios to thin the herd. Make it difficult for us to put up a fight each go-around.
Whilst the poorer voters without income will be used as cannon fodder during fights under the ideal, this will be a potential leg up, trying to convince themselves they are heroes; that is, until their medical bills come due. Where they’ll be left to restart the cycle with the government denying charges until they can barely stay above water.
It’s a cycle humans love to fall for: believe in the monetary success you want to have and hope you’ll win the lottery someday and be one. Aka: Fake it until you make it, and a robot replaces you.
Unfortunately it’s the political landscape these days.
OberonSwanson@sh.itjust.worksto Mildly Interesting•Views about Christian prayers in public school, by stateEnglish231·1 month agoExactly. Grew up Christian and it convinced me to be agnostic. Even then, I still would never add religious beliefs to the teaching of children early in life, when they clearly lack intelligent decision making skills.

Not to mention, gotta pray the devices will see software updates to try and mitigate it.
Adam’s ale. What my grandpa used to jokingly call it. Edit: someone beat me too it.

Both vitamin B & D are linked with depression when levels are low, but my phone must’ve assumed I only meant B and omitted the D. -__-’ AI isn’t always helpful lol. But yes, a few minutes of sun each day can help a lot. Otherwise vitamins are a good way to supplement the two.
If you can question if you’re bad or good, then you’re likely good. A bad person wouldn’t even ask the question.
With that said it sounds like you likely have Major Depressive Disorder along with feelings of some guilt over the partner you’ve lost. My suggestion as a former psychiatrist, is you speak to your general physician, request a referral to see a therapist asap.
In the meantime a good doctor will suggest you start a medication like Prozac (but it can take 6 months to take effect and there’s alternatives like Celexa, Zoloft, Cymbalta). And all I can suggest try getting outside more and get some vitamin B and D, even if it means sitting in your backyard and reading a book for 5 minutes.
Also, the next time these thoughts come up, try practicing controlling your breathing. These thoughts are common now, so you need to try reasoning with that part of yourself, assert yourself over your negative thoughts and calmly remind yourself; you are in control. You can still make changes and it’s never too late for a second, or even third chance.
I must see this now lol.
