Implied explosions and shooting, but you’re not seeing people dismembered with guts pouring out. Similarly, I would throw on Star wars or star trek and seeing phasers and blasters is pretty normal. But if Padme suddenly dropped her dress it would surprise the hell out of people, especially the ones with their kids in the audience. I feel like it got worse. I hit room 46, and was trying to clean up some of the remaining stuff. Had a run with 130 coins, but the gift shop and luxury shop would not appear. When they do appear I have very few coins. I know there are ways to increase my allowance but its a slow grind. Similarly, crafting all the workshop items is pure luck. Filling in all rooms on the board isnt too hard, but still mostly a luck thing. I like the puzzle elements but the rng really killed my motivation to do the extra stuff

Pretty much. I have a game room with my high end PC, but its not a great setup for local co op with the wife and kid, so I use a steamdeck on a dock in my living room. It works well most of the time, but having a dedicated machine for the living room with more power would be awesome to me. I suspect I am not alone on that. Honestly Im at an age too where I would like to be on the couch for a lot of my solo games and dont need the crazy graphics as much. Having my entire steam library on hand is way better than starting over with whatever the new sony or microsoft console is.

I bought one recently because I was tired of paying staples for occasional printouts. There are still reasons to have them.

Certain legal documents still require a “wet” signature and dont accept digital versions. Need to print, sign, mail. Pain in the ass, not my preference.

Some school work the kiddos need to do is much easier when printed out.

Some things like lists and schedules are handy to have printed and hung up.

I have had reason to print flyers in the past for neighborhood events. Expensive enough I should have bought a printer then.

Theres a few other minor reasons. I dont use it much but when I need it and didnt have it that was definitely annoying.

So I havent played Nightreign. Maybe I’m missing something. I really lost interest when it was a rogue like featuring bosses from Elden Ring that I already destroyed numerous times. Now the big new thing coming is… More rehash? And this is exciting?

Seems like an ill omen for such a legendary developer. It always happens eventually as the staff will change over time too, but this just looks like they’re losing the creative spark that always made their games shine.

Sounds like you worked it out. I also had some issues with my older card and found that installing the gnome version helped. Not sure why KDE is fine with my 3080 but for the 1080 that just would not fly. I couldnt even get to the desktop, after login it was just a blank screen. Just a heads up in case you or anyone else has more issues.

“Hardcore mode”. Its really not as hard as it seems to people.

First of all, I never google, I duck duck go things, or on rare occasions I might even Bing them.

Second, I only do it if I’ve already beaten the game and am looking for things I missed. Otherwise its an absolute last resort if I’m really super stuck and think I would completely bail on the game because of it. I still hate doing that, its nearly impossible to get the specific answer without seeing spoilers for other things.

Isthereanydeal.com tracks prices and histories of most PC games. You can always check there to find the best current price and compare to what is being shown. If Steam was showing me something different I would know thanks to this.
