For some, this is not activism. It’s not protesting. It’s just about causing mayhem. They hate cops because they have a problem with authority in general.

You can lock them up, fine them, do whatever, it’ll never have any effect. They will just get out of jail and set fire to another police car given the chance.

I’m not saying the protesters are right, but I will always defend peaceful discourse and all opinions, even the most vile, unfounded bile can have their stage. But they must then also be open to reason and proper discussion. There is no situation where setting fire to police vehicles (paid for with my taxes, by the way) is part of a civilised debate.

I haven’t heard any of Trump’s takes on the first couple of this season. Most of the Trump news doesn’t reach us in Europe. But I wonder how far South Park can go before Trump blows a fuse.

I think it’s very similar but when I played his game Spore hadn’t come out yet. I’m fairly certain the game was designed in the 90s. Graphics-wise Spore looks a decade newer.

Yeah these monstrosities are also gaining popularity in cities in the Netherlands. And for the trained eye you see their license plates containing parts starting with V, meaning they are bought by businesses so they don’t pay BPM (a form of tax for vehicles which is substantial in the Netherlands). They are essentially getting these cars at two thirds of the price and the rest is paid by tax payers.

But the kicker is: the vehicle can be bought by any company. You can just start a business that doesn’t do anything, get a car in that business’s name for a reduced fee, and drive it whenever you want.

And then they drive around streets too narrow for these cars, obstruct vision for other drivers, be a menace to cyclists and pedestrians… I feel we can only fight this if we install a max vehicle size and weight in some urban areas.

I haven’t looked at the performance reviews per system yet but I recall the complaints for Borderlands 3 mainly came from people trying to run it on an old i5 with a 1060 or similar. You need a high end system, that much is clear. Or you need to get comfortable with 30 fps.

I’m not saying Randy is right to strike that tone, but you can’t deny there is a point to saying that some games are meant to be played on powerful systems and won’t accept anything less.

I’m very much an album appreciator. I love it when I can just start an album in and listen to each song. It’s the way the artist meant it to be heard.

Ten is one of those albums I can listen to from start to finish. I can’t say I appreciate every track equally, but listening to the entire album makes me love ‘Garden’ even more because in the context of the album it just stands out to me.
