I find a lot of the communities can be pretty negative. Lots of people talking about how bad things are. It would be nice to see more positive outlooks. But maybe that’s just a sign of the times.

Pretty much any U2 song. But my dad listens to a ton of music.

Edge has had this feature for a while and I love it. I’m glad I can use it on my personal computer and not just my work computer now!

Our kids are in scouts and they love it. They are learning wonderful skills and unlike what some of the commenters are saying at least in Canada the scouts groups are NOT religious.

I think people are going hard on the slippery slope thing with this. I don’t really care either way but there are lots of fediverse folks who are upset about it.

One of the perks of smart tvs! However, loooooots of down sides

In a lot of countries casinos and gambling are perfectly legal. So why should loot boxes or blind packs be illegal but not casinos?

Don’t get me wrong, I would rather buy a skin than risk money on a loot box, but at least with valve if you open the box and get something you don’t want you can sell it or trade it for something else.

It really brings me back to playing HoMM2 as a kid! I’ve bought all the dlc to support the devs.

My wife has OCD but hers manifests itself as a ton of invisible rules that only she knows in every situation and if those rules are broken she immediately enters fight or flight mode.

I would love to see valve put more effort into moderation of their platform. Is there somewhere I can go where I can report problem reviews and posts but not have to wade through the vitriol myself? Like a forum that highlights the problematic ones?

This is the biggest hurdle. Plus the streaming is still p2p so it won’t work to steam to larger groups very well.

Everyone deserves a safe space. And for a lot of women, that space shouldn’t have men. I’m a middle class, cis, white guy, almost everything is a safe space for me. It’s crazy people get offended when they are like me and someone won’t let them into their club.

As long as the discrimination isn’t used to hurt people but protect the interests of the group I think it’s fine.

We get our countertop installed in our kitchen on Friday and I look forward to having a sink again!
