It’s something about the reputation. All of those super sport bikes are insanely powerful but it always seems like the worst people to own them are riding GSXRs (we called them Gixxers). I used to race (on a track) and we would see racers come in with second hand GSXRs that had been repaired from accidents, totaled, sold by insurance, and turned into track bikes.

Yeah those are the foundational services like EC2 powers DynamoDB and everything runs on Route53 which is powered by EC2. Containers on ECS and EKS are just EC2 instances.

I don’t think we were ever literally the best country, those tend to be the nordics. I believe (and I guess I should do some research) that “the greatest country on earth” was a marketing slogan. As a musician with a small catalog on the streaming sites, everyone other than Spotify seems to pay at least something. I am still on Apple Music despite my issues with the UI because they actually pay a good amount for streams. I got more from a handful of streams in TikTok than from thousands of streams on Spotify. The truth is that unless your big, your basically putting music on Spotify for free.

I go to a lot of live music shows but I haven’t purchased a TicketMaster or Live Nation ticket in forever. I don’t see huge bands because they are prohibitively expensive but I get to see a lot of really fun shows and experience a far more engaged crowd.

Trump supporters don’t care that he is a pedo or fascist. The only folk who can be influenced are the non-voting undecideds. Getting folk out to vote is the only way we have a chance out of this. That’s why the MAGATs are trying to reduce voting participation. They know that is their Achilles heel. If more people vote, they lose, and they know it.
