Was hoping I’d see some shmup discussion on Lemmy! I’m a massive fan of Cave STGs myself. More please!

bop@lemm.eeto RetroGaming•Anyone else remember Tyrian? Any other recommendations for classic games with a decent mobile port?English2·2 years agoDodonpachi my man! Blissful Death is on the App Store.
No clue, I don’t hate or love him though. I’m still observing before I cast judgement.
I don’t buy what he sells, I don’t shill his content, but I do see him getting vilified constantly over short clips of him taken out of context. I’ve seen the interviews and videos those clips are taken from, and they aren’t always as black and white as people are making it out to be.
The Phillip Schofield and interview is an example of what I’m referring to.
He often lacks tact and speaks too bluntly in my opinion, but he has pointed out hypocrisy that I noticed as well. He’s vilified in the media, but there are undeniably worse people getting off easier than him. Confirmed pedophiles that actually touched children are walking free while he’s kept on house arrest without proof that he’s guilty. His story has been an interesting one to follow.
Would really love to have this feature added
I believe they used power delete suite
Sayonara Umihara Kawase - helluva unique platformer that got an awesome 3ds version.
bop@lemm.eeto Nintendo 3DS, 2DS and DS•Any short but charming DS/3DS games you would recommend on playing?English2·2 years agoElite Beat Agents is a must try in my opinion. Contact also has a ton of charm.
I saw a few people editing all their Reddit comments/posts with an explanation as to why the info is gone and they also gave a link to where they could find their content reposted on Lemmy. Thought that was pretty clever.
bop@lemm.eeto No Stupid Questions•Do you believe Lemmy/Mastodon can become mainstream and fully replace their centralized counterparts?18·2 years agoI think if we all just leave Reddit behind and commit to Lemmy, things will fall into place. I haven’t logged into reddit since the 30th, and things here have been just fine. I’m regularly getting responses to my comments and there’s good discussion everywhere I look on Lemmy. As far as I can see, it’s only a matter of time before it’s “mainstream”.

Once upon a time there wasn’t a good Reddit app for iOS with usability and accessibility like the rest of Apple’s ecosystem. Then comes along Alien Blue, which kicked ass. After a while, Reddit buys Alien Blue and ruins the UI. Apollo then clones Alien Blue and starts improving on it. Apollo quickly became the only way I would use Reddit on my phone. It was a better client than anything Reddit has come up with on their own - I’d wager their official app is unusable for many people.
Memmy is great alternative to Apollo for iOS.
It’s such a baller game
