I don’t have a good answer. I would probably wait to see if this kills GrapheneOS (on pixel devices) or not, then use that info in my decision process.

If gta 6 has stuff like this out the box and in more detail with more locations/varieties I will be hooked for eons when it finally drops on PC (and a couple seasons pass (winter, autumn, etc) so it goes on sale)
Really makes ya think huh
Terrible news ofc, but I hope no one panic buys a different phone or anything (assuming they already have one). This is just to say, your phone isn’t immediately obsoleted right now, so give it a little while before you switch anything out.
I like how you say that. It made me deduce a thought of how everything we need should be socialized to some extent (or at least have superbly heavily regulated mandated processes and stuff), and the stuff we want can be provided through a “free market” (not to say the free market shouldnt be regulated, but it wouldnt need to be as strict as stuff/services that we need).
Healthcare & transportation being the most important things I can think of where the government should keep 100% of the controls.
Yeah idk the cause, but the chance of being in a crash yourself is still miniscule, but still a bit scary i guess, even if it’s safer than driving.
There’s always a bucket, or squeezy bottle or garden hose for you in these dark brown times.
You don’t know it didn’t suffer and he didn’t kill it so that he could eat it (I’m disagreeing with you on the “cognitive dissonance” thing).
Also im not sure if you are saying that you dont judge him for what he did or just saying youre not vegan, but doing as he did is judge worthy.
I don’t believe you
Good point, I didn’t keep ops display size in mind when i read this comment of “4k is a scam”, which may have been their point.
In my reply, I’m saying 4k isn’t a scam in general.
Hell is Us requires a 5600 XT to play (from looking at its minimum requirements on Steam), you have a 6600 so you should be good (obviously not at 4k though).
Also seeing the whole 4k thing, the monitors might not have been a mistake, but they are probably an investment for the future at this point when budget friendly 4k cards are a thing, until then, you’ll have to rely on upscaling from lower resolutions (if thats possible with tools built into the game) or just playing in a non-native resolution (1080p) for new games.
Using 1440p for 20 years doesn’t mean 4k is a scam
Not defending anyone, but I don’t think implementing raytracing is a cost-cutting measure.
Also, are there games that force you to enable raytracing (when a big performance hit). The ones I have played always allow you to disable it.
I think (one of) the real reasons behind some games being so poorly optimized is the developers using upscaling as a crutch when they shouldn’t.
You were so lazy it sounds like you agree with the og comment, not disagree. In essence, I think your comment aligns with the one you are replying to.
(Calling u so lazy is a light hearted joke that joins into my point)
And have to start their legal drinking age over again from zero
Upgrade: Splinter attack.
(Nevermind I saw someone elses comment:) Also i feel like I would be able to throw a stick one further, am I wrong?
It’s not as bad as it seems in my quick little research. They don’t have the scale of the other BIG cloud providers, so I could understand why it could be more expensive, but apparently for compute-optimized loads, they are the cheapest (of the big ones).
Their storage is also apparently the cheapest compared to other BIG providers.
If they are going for a higher service level and featureset than the cheapest clouds, then that also explains the price.
Anyways, think this one example doesnt paint the picture properly (according to quick research, so I may be wrong, lemme know if u know i am).
Them tryna suck us back into their dysfunctional os, not gonna work on me Mr Micro
If you say so.
