Use Bazzite! Works great now even with Nvidia cards. Been able to run anything the same as I did on windows before. Was able to get VR working too pretty quickly by using ALVR

That’s a gross oversimplification. You do know most pastors that do that have to get close with the kids in the first place for it to happen… they don’t just see a kid on first day and go for it. They’re predators that try to build trust at first under the guise of religion being safe and trustworthy.

Good thing they just ship them off to another church once they’re found out? I’m sure plenty of cases get swept under the rug because psycho-Christian families believe it was “God’s plan” or some bs.

Well, from my experience as someone who’s pretty new to Linux, it was very easy to set up as long as you follow the guide on the ALVR website. I had to do that for Oculus. Depending on the headset you have, it may work without needing to install any extra software! Been playing Half Life: Alyx and Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners without any problems.

Bazzite works wonders for gaming. Nvidia cards are supposedly the one’s you will have to tinker with a bit, but everything besides VR has worked for me without needing to do a thing. Only really needed to install ALVR to get that working which took about 20-30 minutes to get set up.

You can also undervolt, overclock and all that with LACT. I believe it’s installable through the software center too if I’m remembering correctly. It fully supports Nvidia cards now.

I understand the dissenting opinions, but it’s mind-boggling people can’t grasp this in the modern world. There’s almost 350 million people in the US. It’s impossible to immediately get everyone on the same page and make meaningful change in a short period of time.

If you abstain from voting, you absolutely allow the greater evil to thrive and become worse. Look at the extent that Bush went to after 9/11. No one should want that.

You’re not wrong about any of that… but any communist nation has its own problems. History has pretty much shown there is no perfect form of governance, especially when you have hundreds of millions of people living there. And why would so many people from those communist states immigrate en masse to the US over the years? Surely there’s a reason for that - lots of freedoms are afforded here that aren’t given under communist rule.

Misinformation can be just as bad in a communist nation when news is controlled by the state. Russia and China have both notably had issues with that over the years. Journalists “fall out of windows” all the time in Russia. I’m gonna reference them mostly because they’re some of the only nations with similar population size to the US.

Birth rates are dropping in places like China too due to economic struggles. Yes, they’ve gone green with electric power and all that - but they’re still one of the worst polluters in the world. And child labor runs rampant in communist countries.

If the US govt. had rewritten the constitution here at some point instead of interpreting language that no longer applies to modern nations - we would be a lot better off.

Most of the problems we’re facing aren’t solely due to capitalism… imagine if Trump and co. took power in a communist state. It would be the same, if not worse due to the structure of govt. Less guardrails there and it would be way easier to shut down any opposition from the population.
