On Samsung they got rid of a perfectly good screenshot tool and replaced it with one that has AI, it’s slower, clunky, and not as good, I just want them to revert it. If I wanted AI I’d download an app.

I have a couple of Toshiba NAS drives, they’ve been going a few years but the problem has been noise. They’re so damn loud compared to WD and Seagate’s I had previously.
Everyone already knows, we knew this before he ran for president. That’s why it doesn’t need to be said often.
Sports but not specifically walking, I use FitNotes. I mostly use it to track my weightlifting progress but it does have the ability to track time so I do track my cardio on the same app.
It has Google Drive backups too which is nice
Nostalgia-wise it’d be Phantom Hourglass, it’s super underrated, super fun game! But otherwise it’d be the Switch duology, they’re incredible games

I’m saying every car owner should read the manual for their car. Buy a new car, read the manual, it contains a lot of useful information whether you drive a crappy Tesla or not.
haych@lemmy.oneto PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Horizon Forbidden West Performance Benchmark Review - 30 GPUs Tested5·1 year agoI’m only a few hours in, 5600x and 6900XT. Very pleased with performance at 3440x1440p, on high(with FSR2). Game looks amazing and I cap at 73 to be in my freesync range and get 0 drops.
Animations are really smooth and voice acting is too notch, so many NPCs doing unique animations, the gameplay is just as fun as the first with a few extra skills and abilities. If you enjoyed the first you’ll enjoy the second. My only criticism is they did something to her face, head on she looks wide? compared to the first game, it’s jarring and takes me out of cutscenes for a moment, but her side profile looks the same.
haych@lemmy.oneto Technology•Reddit CEO Defends His Absurdly High Pay While Not Paying ModsEnglish378·1 year agoControversial take, I don’t think mods need to be paid. You don’t have to be a mod, you’re actively choosing to be a moderator. If you aren’t getting paid for your work and dislike that, then don’t do it. There’s always going to be someone willing to do it for free, like a hobby.
Since I got my Steam Deck, I think that was 2 years ago or so now? But I also ended up using it on my Windows PC to replace Amazon, Gog, and Epic.
It’s not perfect, but it does the job and means I don’t need multiple clients.
Heroic Launcher is decent enough to use.
I suppose you could just use insert link and all it’d require is an exclamation point edited in at the front, but a dedicated button would be nice for those that didn’t know that was the formatting. I didn’t know myself until this thread.
I’m glad I did though, now it’ll be easier to add images to my comments!
Adguard-DNS cloud is similar to NextDNS.
AdGuard Home is an self hosted open source adblocker that can run in a Pi, I run that. More features than PiHole and I’ve had for less issues with it.
https://nom.mom/comment/1802749 going from this comment, it looks like it should be a fairly simple addition, similar to the Insert Link button when writing a comment.
So it’s just an exclamation point, open and close square brackets, then a URL in regular brackets and Lemmy handles the rest? That sounds like it should be easy enough to implement, similar to the “Insert Link” button.

Hopefully that’s what’s happening here.
Yes, Smart Select. I do that now, but taking a full screenshot and cropping it is slower for me than the old Smart Select. I hate this new version, it’s slower and doesn’t work the same, we should get the option to pick, but they forced the upgrade and I have no choice.
