Same! Just been tinkering around with commando builds lately. It’s a really solid game
And don’t forget the requirement to pull the button two to three times immediately after picking up a power drill.
This is a funny meme and all but allow me to ruin the fun. This kind of small scale thievery in the absence of actual systemic change just leads to things being more expensive for the common person.
I used to get irritated when I heard or saw things like that too, but now I just kind of chuckle internally because it’s just a really immature mentality and it won’t last long because being fifteen turns into being thirty way faster than they realize.

As someone who has been trying to grow tomatoes in containers for about 10 years, I can confirm that it really is difficult. It took me about 5 years to achieve fairly consistent results and get the hang of properly amending the soil, planting correctly, watering, pruning etc. And I still have years where the production is really low, largely due to fungal diseases.

There are a lot of fair-minded takes in this thread which is surprising for me since this is lemmy where I’ve actually seen someone tell another person they are a piece of shit for even talking about Harry Potter lore.
This is a good explanation. I love tool but I am not very smart nor do have a very good grasp of music theory. I just really really like the way their music sounds and it makes me feel a lot of things.
Just fyi I never got ID’d in Japan and at the convenience stores etc, they just ask you to press a button on a touch screen that says you’re 20.

Another point I don’t see brought up often is how much we use oil for basically everything else. Clothing (polyester), packaging, flooring, so many consumer goods globally are made from polymers. I hate it but the oil problem doesn’t go away with just transitioning to renewables for energy.
I really enjoyed these. Thanks for sharing.

Went to see this last night on a whim. I didn’t really know anything about it other than it being spearheaded by Markiplier. I am familiar with him but I’ve never really followed his YouTube stuff.
That being said I think this film was a pretty decent effort. However, it was too long (my wife fell asleep about three quarters in) given the subject material and felt like it was lacking something. Markipliers’s performance was surprisingly good. Overall 6.5/10 for me.
Edit: I read this review after I wrote this comment and I think it’s worth a read if you’re looking for a more in depth analysis.

Damn. Not even peeling them is extra devious.

Does this include onions?
Yeah you nailed it. I have versions of this debate (although more lighthearted) with friends and family sometimes.
There are also lots of things to like about the winter season besides just the cold. Like there being less/no insects both inside and outside, the world generally being a bit quieter, etc.

I have a pair of second hand maui jims that look very similar

I recently tried torrent leech as my first private tracker and I’m not really happy with the experience. They discourage you from downloading older torrents (old, obscure stuff) due to it potentially tanking your ratio and it seems there’s limited content available.
They also encourage signing up for other paid services to get an invite which just kinda rubs me the wrong way.
